COAI welcomes DoT final decision to approve apps of telecom support companies for conducting 5G trials
Mobile Operators Association of India (COAI) has welcomed the Office of Telecom (DoT) conclusion to approve the programs of telecom company vendors for conducting 5G trials. Director-Standard of COAI, Lieutenant Typical SP Kochhar stated the shift will encourage local exploration and progress (R and D) ecosystem.
Before yesterday, DoT accredited programs of telecom support companies (TSPs) like Bharti Airtel, Reliance JioInfocomm, Vodafone Concept and MTNL for conducting 5G trials. Ministry of Communications stated, these TSPs have tied up with unique machines manufacturers and know-how vendors – Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and C-DOT.
