Archer Jayanta Talukdar admitted to healthcare facility following testing Covid good
Top rated Indian archer Jayanta Talukdar has been admitted to a medical center in Guwahati just after screening optimistic for Covid-19.
Talukdar, who was aspect of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2006 Doha and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Game titles, is becoming treated in the ICU for very low oxygen concentrations.
Talukdar, who represented the country at the 2012 London Olympics, was amid eight shortlisted archers who competed in the trials to choose the archery workforce for the Tokyo Olympics in March.But he failed to make the cut.
An Arjuna Awardee, the 35-12 months-previous Talukdar was a gold medallist at the 2006 Globe Cup in Merida, Mexico and a silver medallist in the men’s team Entire world Championships in 2005 in Madrid, Spain.
